Food Pantry

This was the last time the food pantry is going to be open before Thanksgiving. Lisa and Michelline worked on organizing the turkey tickets while I filed papers. Many people were coming in with questions about the process which gave me insight into how Thanksgiving at the food pantry works. Everyone comes at their assigned time with their ticket and, in exchange, gets a Thanksgiving turkey. Some people lost their tickets and, in that case, they had to wait until the end to make sure there were enough turkeys. Hopefully everything will run smoothly in this busy time of year.

Da er det KLART!! Var i møte idag i Sola Kulturråd og eg får leie TanangerHallen DVS at muligheten for å slå REKORDEN fra USA er til stede!! Rekorden er 935 personer som strikket samtidig i 15 min! Nå vet du stedet og tidspunktet er Fredag 20.-Søndag 22. august 2010!!! Så nå HÅPER eg at nettopp DU vil komme!! Selvfølgelig så håper eg OGSÅ at du tar med deg din mor, tante, bestemor, svigermor eller en god venninne: Eller like godt ALLE sammen!! Så hva sier du?? Eg har ordnet med Hummeren Hotel skal ordne en avtale med Sola Strand Hotel og Sola Quality Airport , så etter hvert bestiller dere selv rom, lurt kanskje å ligge flere i sammen. Mangen av dere har vært her opp til 3 ganger, så noen ordner seg kanskje privat også. Det vil bli flere Workhop + MANGE spennende GARNPRODUSENTER!!
